Constantly criticized, judged and shamed. Selfish for working and shamed for creating a new life. If you make a decision you must think of the impact it has on others but if others decide then you must obey. Speaking up is strong unless it’s against the majority.

Looked down upon on how you take care of your health or how you don’t. Either too big or too small. Forever changing standards, impossible to reach. Constant trends shifting an image you must represent. Having confidence is great but just don’t be loud about it. Don’t wear your insecurities. Fix your posture. Stand up tall. Just don’t be the tallest in the room. Body positivity but be neutral about it.

Brains are beautiful if they have a pretty face. Be intelligent and kind. Have boundaries but give people grace. Think for yourself and think of others. Give back but also give to yourself. Be open to feedback even if it’s harsh. Just don’t take it personally.

You deserve control over your body but … as long as you remember your values. My body my choice. It’s a life, how could you!

Remember to get educated. Grow a brand. Chase success. Oh wait! 28 is too late. Don’t get too invested, marriage is great. No kids! How could you? Make your own money to keep yourself safe. Single and never married, such a shame. Kids so young, she must be sad.

Is this the art of being a woman. Second guessing every decision you make. Not knowing which is right or wrong because what you think is right is wrong or what you think is wrong is right. Never feeling good enough. Wanting to love self but apparently self-love is fake. We empower each other and pick each other apart. Criticized for whatever direction you take.

The art of being a woman or I say it’s just reality for most women.
